1 If Audacity is open, you can open an audio file in two ways

• Drag the audio file over the Audacity window.

• From the File menu, select Open. Select the audio file and click Open (file chooser dialog).

2 Click the Play button.

3 (optional) Move the cursor to a different place on the timeline.

4 Pause or Stop audio.
